This show took me places I never returned from! This is a fabulous recording of this amazing show. It captures the massive Phil bombs in CR&S...and the crowd reaction. Very clean sounding AUD. The Greek Theater was THE PLACE to see the Dead in the 80's! The '83 run was the jewel of them all.

Rasta you are correct...

The big light in the sky was obviously just my hallucination...but it is still clear as the day it happened. We saw it again while driving between Boise and SLC during the '83 Rocky MT tour. No hallucinatory excuse that time.

This is how all Dead shows should end - no encore. as they put it all on the table during the show.

Listening to this makes me remember what I enjoyed so much about these shows. Ripping China Cat. Play it loud.
